The hawk migration count at Cape Flattery records a couple of thousand
migrant cranes, as well, though no effort is made to accurately
count them.

I've heard large flocks migrating well to the west of our count site,
perhaps over the ocean, as well as having flocks of a couple
hundred pass over head.

So, I'm not terribly surprised that you say a flock thermaling voer
Aberdeen - it is kind of cool to see them do that, isn't it?
