Tom,
I've been watching this drama since last summer. Friends in the Rogue had
sent me local news coverage. I noticed a small article in the Oregonian today.
The samples were sent on all deformed birds to the National Wildlife lab in
Wisconsin. Still no word, altho the data today confirm mutations in all but
one kestrel who had substained traumatic injury. The interesting difference in
location and food sources between ie: raptor & robin leads you to think of
water as the common source of contaminent.
Put this out on the Net. a biologist from Great lakes area mention the same
type of abnormalities in local water birds from PCB and dioxin.
Please let me know if you get anything new
on this. Thanks,Judy
