Spring came to the backyard big time this evening. As I was simmering the
gorgonzola sauce for spaghetti, I had the back door open and heard a
tell-tale "chip" outside. Looking out the door, I saw no less than seven
Yellow-rumped Warblers (all "Audubon's") in the cherry tree just outside
our back door. Several others were in neighboring trees as well. Nothing
like a mini-flock of migrants to make you appreciate the change in seasons.
Question: do "Audubon's" prefer white pasta sauces over red sauces and
"Myrtles" vice versa?
