I think we need a symbol for tongue in cheek, so recipients can tell when a
poster just might be joking. Some of us may be in trouble less often if we
can accomplish this. One that came to me was:

Any other candidates? Is there a "standard?" Or is the wink ;-) to be
used in this way? Or is that flirting? I'm trying so hard to be
electronically correct.....
