I you feel this way, then a disservice has been done to you. Email is a great
way to discuss things. Education is the watchword not estrangement.

Hopefully people sitting on the sidelines have gleened some information from
the "hearty" discussion, both relating to the problems caused by cats but also
the companionship offered to people and the affection which results. By
understanding both sides of the issue then a more careful, considered and
effective solution might be a step closer.

These "emotional" debates are always kind of fun - once the smoke clears. In
the thick of the battle, sometimes its less so. It certainly gets people
involved and lots of issues get aired.
