As a nerd who's been using computer professionally since the early
1970s, I'd have to say I've never seen a group as MILD as tweeters
on-line.

Teresa: don't go away, need I say more?

Anyway, regarding flaming and the like, this has really been the first
round I've seen on the group so let's not go overboard on
discussing cures, netiquette, and the like. As such things go,
the criticism was relatively mild, contained a lot of good information,
and contained positive advice as well as moral posturing.

I don't think this round places us at much risk of becoming as nasty
as, say, talk.origins or sci.environment. And at zero risk as
becoming as nasty as the REALLY nasty groups.

Let's get back to birds, or introduced fish in Florida, or something
at least somewhat biological or outdoorsy!
