Teresa,

I am very glad that you did start the "dreaded cat thread". We all
learned a great deal, especially those of us who like all critters. In
the past, I also had a beloved cat that killed birds, and the cat, in
turn, was killed in the street. All cats after that became strictly
indoor citizens.

Furthermore, there are others of us who also chose not to have children
because of the obvious population impact on the environment and on our
human psych.

Please, feel welcomed on any future Audubon trip. You will find many
kindred spirits.
