Although what Gene says about the Yakama's conservation eithic is true, they
announced last week that they will increase their harvest levels to retire
some significant debt. Financial reality calls to even the best examples.
I presume they intend to harvest in an environmentally responsible manner.
The papers didn't address that side of the story.
