Last fall over at Robinson Canyon and at Wenas Creek campground there were
several flocks of Yellow-rumps moving south in the early morning. Whether they
were migrating during the daytime is open to question. However they were
determinedly moving south, foraging as they went.

Several times during Spring in Scotland I have seen arrivals of groups/flocks
of Willow Warbler (Phylloscopus trochiloides (?)) during daylight hours. The
birds would be present for a few minutes then move on. The birds were
associating with each other. Again whether it was a foraging party or a
migrating flock is open to question.
