For those of us who are novices, the ability to ask for assistance from
more experienced birders is much appreciated. I recently asked for
suggestions in the Cle Elum area and got five great responses. I followed
up on each one and the result was several days of great birding and three
life birds.

New request...

I'll be in the Soap Lake, Rocky Ford Creek, Lake Lenore area late this
week and I'm wondering what seasonal birds I might expect to see. Perhaps
the veterans have forgotten the frustration of madly leafing through the
field guides, trying to find something that looks like what I see. The
suggestion, for example, that I might expect to see Rough-winged Swallows
around Cle Elum allowed me to make a much quicker identification. Make sense?
