North Coast Report - 4/23/95
Clatsop, Co. OR

Lots of shorebird movement at the SJCR, almost all of it flyover.

Whimbrel (1)
Greater Yellowlegs (1)
Short-billed Dowitcher (28)
Dunlin (363)
Sanderling (300)
Western Sandpiper (65)
Least Sandpiper (32)
Red-necked Phalarope (9)
American Pipit (5)

Wireless Rd at high tide had over 100 Dowitchers and the ones I
could see well were Short-bills. There were 3 WHIMBREL here as
well, lots of pipits and Savanna Sparrows and at least one VESPER
SPARROW.

New arrivals this week include WILSON'S WARBLER and CLIFF SWALLOW.
