Regarding Singapore: At one time Singapore's incentives were quite biased. Not sure of current status. College educated women were given certain advantages for having extra children, less educated women were paid to be sterilized.
I admit I might have to dig to find my original source on this information, but I didn't doubt it when I read it.
I'm a supporter of ZPG, but I don't think Singapore is an example to aspire to. I'm afraid if I go there, I might be arrested for scratching my nose in public. Perhaps it's an irrational fear. Ya' think?
