I've never seen militia activity in either the WA NE or SE in decades of
birding. But then I've
never seen a rattlesnake either. Just lucky, I guess . . . . People
target practice in the boonies but I've encountered most of that in the
vicinity of Mt. Si & McClellan Butte.
