Oh, I really know. I'm just being a little curmudgeonly, trying to
counter Jon Anderson's protest against hyphens and also create my
particular sick brand of humor. Forgive me my hyphenation, for I have
sinned against grammar.

To justify this message with a birdy topic, there was virtually nothing
of interest at Ocean Shores yesterday afternoon. The pond on Damon Point
had a few Yellowlegs, probably Greater. Too many fisherpeople on the
Jetty, no rockpipers. I didn't venture into the Game Range; someone will
probably report that I missed a rare Asian shorebird there.
