Wilson and Susan Cady - (360) 835-5947 - report a probable first year
male BROAD-TAILED HUMMINGBIRD coming to a feeder and hanging around their
yard just east of Washougal. The bird has been seen daily since 1 August.
The bird was first noticed by ear! - the loud wing noise males make.
It's been aggressively defending the feeder from the Rufous Hummers
around. I inquired about the bird, and they asked me to post it to
tweeters.
