Mike,
When I first read of the atlas project, I thought that it was JUST for
King County. As I rarely bird in King Co anywhere but in the Burien/
Seahurst area, I didn't think I could contribute much.
I was unaware that you were doing a STATE-WIDE atlasing project, and
would be more than happy to keep records of breeding birds in my
peregrinations - I just wish that I'd been less brain-dead on this before
the nesting season was over for '95!!
I knew that the Oregon Atlas project was going, and so got the cards and
information from *their* project in time for my High Desert vacation this
last June. Hopefully, I'll be all squared-away for next breeding season.
Count me in!
