I wondered about this, too. In Oregon, there is a pay service
that I use which is sponsored by the state - so e-mail addresses
end in .gov. Some of us work for the state and some don't. We
all pay, except for a few that have been given free accounts in
the public interest. So this is not our "work" e-mail address.
Knowing this, I pretty much ignored the "data" on demographics.
