Sorry, missed return address. At Logan, take the airport loop bus to the
airport subway ("T") station. Ride two stops to Winthrop and walk to the
beach. There are breakwaters on the beach and in the bay that attract
shorebirds, seaducks and other sea birds. It is one of the better spots in
the USA for Common Black-headed Gull. Also, Great Cormorant and Purple
Sandpiper (late in the year) may be seen. John Hirth
