Complete agreement on this, and on the comments that the people with
environmental leanings do not seem to be organized this year. After working
with Endangered Species Coalition and Audubon, I am convinced we are being
seriously outflanked. We need to do more than speak to the choir on these
issues. Even "letters to the editor" would (probably) help (assuming they
get around to publishing us).
