Yesterday (Monday) morning there was a flock of 20+ sandpipers at the
Montlake fill central pond, including at least 8 Least and 9 Western
sandpipers. And yes, they were utilizing the cleared areas!

This morning I saw only two sandpipers, one Western and one probable
Least but the four Green herons were very nice to watch instead.
