Tweets,

They finally let me go out into the sunshine today! The only place I had
a chance to stop and look/rest was at the lower bridge across the Samish
River - just SW of Edison (Skagit Co)

At 2:30p.m. the tide was low and flowing in:

27 Western Sandpipers - all looked like juveniles to me
1 Greater (?) Yellowlegs - it was up the river a bit, but looked fairly
large - too much shimmer to see markings, except that it was a juv
1 Short-billed Dowitcher - adult in alt plumage

Not much, but with my opportunities to bird, I take 'em where I can get 'em

Actually, on a low incoming tide, this should be a pretty good place to
view birds - at least *after* the sport fishermen have quit fishing for
chinook. In the winter, I've seen some _Vancouveri_-type Canada geese.
