Any tweeters know about the Kettle Range Conservation Group?

Also, anyone know who many of the "alive trees" are marked for cutting?

The sentence below doesn't say that the all the alive trees are marked,
but just that they are "in an area of proposed logging". Depends on
_how_ they log that area whether or not some large proportion of the
alive trees are cut.

I always get concerned about use of alarmist language (Kellogg
group/Greenwire/Sierra Club?) in behalf of environmental causes,
unless the truth behind it is accurately reflected in it. I don't
know what the truth is in this case.

And, of course, that says nothing about the other issue --about the
on-the-land value of dead trees/snags/duff/etc.
