I have an east facing view from Queen Anne Hill; every morning in the winter
literally 100's of crows fly over my house. I've noticed very large numbers of
crows roosting at the UW; mostly near where the 520 crosses the Arboretum.
Don't hang out there in the evenings if the movie "Birds" spooked you!! Now
I know this doesn't constitute a "study", but if the ornithologists want to
harass me they would have just cause ;-)

Over the last couple of weeks, I've noticed that the flocking birds are
beginning to flock again (particularly crows and starlings) - I've come to
the conclusion this is due to the close of the breeding season; as opposed
to an early autumn. Any comments?
