A hike to Hyas Lake in NW Kittitas County on Saturday produced several
White-winged Crossbills.
Three males were seen singing from the tops of spruce trees along the trail.
This area is within 2 miles of King and Chelan Counties and is reached from
the Roslyn exit on I-90. See Delorme Atlas, page 81, D-8.
