I'll say...I saw one eat a vole at the Nisqually Delta

My friend Bill rescued a mother possum and babies from his dog and boxed
them up, trucked them off to a remote area near the PDX airport (he lives in
that area) checked CAREFULLY for any birds..particularly predators, and
then dumped them out near the water...2 GBH's appeared from nowhere
(seemingly) and proceed to spear the babies off the swimming mother 'possum's
back..she had three left by the time she reached the other side...
