In my continuing effort to avoid the Tweeters picnic:>) I spent a day at
Potholes State Park in E. Washington surrounded by Ring-bills, mostly while
preparing dinner. There must have been fifty birds of various ages in the
campground but no evidence of color on the bills. I did put down the pot and
pick up the binocs for a while since I don't get to see Ring-bills very often
either.
