sE~Mike and Merrylynn Denny asked me to post their sighting of a male Bar-tailed
Godwit in amongst 4,500 Black-bellied Plovers at 1800 to 1920 (16 Aug) at Ocean
Shores. Take Ocean Shores Blvd south to Torres Blvd Sw, thence out to the
beach. To the south was the flock of shorebirds. Also 2 Red Knots and 2 Ruddy
Turnstones. Mike believes it was the Siberian baueri race of the Bar-tailed
Godwit
