Hi Tweets, doing a little research and was wondering if any of you could
help me out here.
1.) Jewett lists a Sandhill Crane nest from 'Camas Prairie' from 1893,
noted by H.T. Bohlan. Anybody know exactly where 'Camas Prairie' is?
It's not list in the geographic locations list in the back, and I can't
seem to find one in the DeLorme. Is it now the present-day town of
Camas, or the 'Camas Plain' listed near the Camas Creek Burn?
2.) BBA data for Killdeer show the highest probable nest site in
Washington is Rimrock Lake, Yakima Co., at 2900'. Anybody have any
higher nesting records than that (not migrants)???
