Had a quick trip up into Okanogan County this last weekend and spotted over 60
species. Of particular interest was "dry gulch" road east of Oroville where we
saw in excess of 40 kestrals in a 3-4 mile stretch of road. Some roost snags
had as many as 6 birds in one tree. The Lewis woodpeckers were also abundant in
this area.
