Many birds that build nests that last well between seasons use them
repeatedly. I couldn't find anything in a quick perusal of Bent's life
histories that indicated that Bushtits do so, with several mentions of them
building a new nest near the one from the year before. Most of them
probably don't hold up that well through the winter. They do reuse them
for second and, rarely, third broods within a season.
