Hi Bruce and tweets, I also saw a White-tailed Kite this spring in King
Co., specifically while eating vegetable soup on my front step (good
soup, by the way). It was flying southwest from Magnuson Park, and being
harassed by a crow. I called Russell Rogers in West Seattle, hoping it
might pass him over also, but I guess all he found was rain.

Me too, and my King Co. list. After seeing plenty in Texas when I lived
there, I feel comfortable with the ID.

I assume this is because none are documented with photographs or multiple
observers? I submitted what was probably enough detail to make the ID,
but I know I was the only one who saw it (besides my soup).
