I know there are two viewing points in the Rockies west of Calgary. I've
been to Windy Ridge which is in Kananaskas Country with the nearest town
being Turner Valley. I was there from 12:30 to 15:00 on October 6th, 1992
and counted over 50 Golden Eagles, Bald Eagles, Sharp-shinned and Cooper's
Hawks, 10+ Goshawk, American Kestrel, Northern Shrike, Merlin and lots of Raven.

I can provide information on getting there and a local contact for anyone
that wants it.
