You have been logged in for 2 hours and 41 minutes this session.
Please log off immediately, as you are already over the 2-hour-on
session guideline. If you do not log off voluntarily, you will be
automatically disconnected from the system 15 minutes from the time
this message was sent to you, without further warning.

Shell and Personal SLIP/PPP accounts have a 2-hours-on, 2-hours-off
usage guideline: You can log on for two hours, but then you have to
stay off for at least two hours. Our lines and modems are a precious
resource, and it's important that everyone keep in mind that others pay to
use the system just like you do. They deserve a chance at using the
lines.

If you're interested in unlimited usage, we do offer an unlimited-time
account that comes with a dedicated modem and line; charges, of course,
are much higher than what a Shell or Personal SLIP/PPP account costs.

There is, however, another alternative: if you're willing to put up
with a slower line speed (9600-bps instead of 14.4 or 28.8-kbps), you
can use our 9600-bps Bellevue modem pool and stay connected for 4 hours
at a time (followed, of course, by 4 hours off). To use the 9600-bps
modem pool, call

206.688.0065

This 9600-bps pool doesn't have local numbers around Greater Seattle;
if you can't make a local call to Bellevue, you'll need to pay
long-distance charges. As usage of the 9600-bps pool increases, we'll
consider adding local access numbers.

Users logged on to our main modem pool for over two hours are liable to
be disconnected without warning. Those who receive repeated warnings
and continue to violate the usage guidelines will be invited to upgrade
to a service more suitable to their usage requirements, or to find
another provider in this area that can meet their needs.

Thanks for your understanding.
