I've watched the Barn Swallows residing in my carport amd they exhibit very
little agressive behavior toward the nuthatches and chickadees which spend a
lot of time in close to the house or flying below the roofline. However they
move pretty quickly toward any small bird further out in the yard or in the
adjacent woodlot.
