Harry Nehls and I had a CURLEW SANDPIPER hanging out in a flock of Westerns
today at the shorebird flats of parking lot C. It is a juvenile already
starting into molt. It was first seen at about 1300hr (we initilally
identified it as a funny looking Dunlin). In flight it has a bright
rump patch.

IF YOU'RE ON A PHONE TREE, PLEASE REMEMBER TO MAKE YOUR CALLS

Also if you are one of the two ladies who failed to introduce yourself,
to us today. You saw this bird, too. Congratulations.
