My fiction offering is the 1994 National Book Award finalist The BIrd
Artist by Howard Norman. The bird lore of 1911 Newfoundland is the icing
on a tasty literary cake.

In another literary realm entirely, what about the humor title Beyond
Birdwatching (from the folks who brought you the Field Guides to
Little-Known and Seldom-Seen Birds of North America). Beyond
Birdwatching was among the field guides in my local bookstore. I got
some chuckles from it. Does anyone know anything about the authors -
Ben, Cathryn and John Sill?
