Um, well, winter? I did note half a dozen common merganser girls (no
fellas) on the N end of Seward Park this a.m. They usually winter/spring
(nice verbs) there and only returned last week, so far as I noticed.
Five green parrots still zip around the skyline, too. The gardener
claims there are six, but I've never seen the entire crew.
