At noon today, I saw 17 Band-tailed Pigeons at 800 feet elevation over
Rocky Point on Camano Island. The pigeons were south-bound, and appeared
to have crossed the channel from Whidbey Island.

This is the first "flock" of pigeons I've seen this summer. Is fall here
already?
