I also saw a single band-tailed pigeon, today, on my lunch hour. This
is my first sighting of band-tailed pigeons this summer here in
Washington state. I also "had" 2 Bewick's wrens, 3 Cedar waxwings,
and two juvenile (I think) Swainson's thrushes, along with the only
usuals at my office at I-405 and 108th NE in Bellevue, B-C chickadees
and crows (no, I don't know if they're C. brachyrhynchos or C.
caurinus). The small woodlot I check out on more leisurely lunch-hour
days is _really_ active today.
