Short-eareds are noted in all the literature on Marymoor, but in the
approximately 150 trips to Marymoor in the last 5 years I have not seen
one. Has *anybody* seen a short-eared owl at Marymoor recently (last 5
years)? Were they ever common there?

I bird Marymoor every Thursday morning starting at 7:30. I used to
just bird in the spring, but for the last two years, I've birded
year-round. I've seen around 120 species there, birding mostly just
the nature trail loop. I typically see around 35 species a trip, with
a high of 46. It's a good weekly diversion!
