Do you prefer electric or coal fired :-)? Well, you might use an
aquarium heater. A bar-b-que lighter turned way down on a Variac might
work. I used to prevent pump-house freezing by leaving a 150 watt lamp
on in the pump house. Would have to guard that from splashing somehow if
it were used near water. Safety is the hard part on such a project.
