Here in the southlands, Glaucous-wings are still predominating campus;
however, there were a couple of Californias this morning. A flock of
around 25 bushtits has also been around.
BTW, the vertical line method that was suggested the other day
works wonderfully for these birds. If I were to have estimated the flock
I saw when they were in the cedar, I would have said 10-15 rather than
25, the number observed while flying between (and I might have missed the
first few). Kudos to Teresa!
