Here is some additional info about the usage of my backyard feeders. We
have 0.9 acres of mostly trees & shrubs, trees up 30-60+' surround my lot.
There are no large open areas which is probably why Starlings have not been
a problem. There are trees and bushes near the feeders for cover. We have
two water baths & the following feeders:

Platform feeder w/ clear roof--black sunflower seeds & white millet
Hanging tube thistle feeder--niger thistle
Hanging peanut butter log--chunky peanut butter(5# container from Costco)
Plastic bubble feeder--black sunflower seed
Two suet feeders--homemade & com'l--the feeders are homemade, rectangular &
1-1/2" wide to take com'l cakes--I attach a 4"x6" piece of wood to the
bottom for tail support for the NOFL & DOWO

In 1994 my backyard bird count was 40 species. The feeder data is for the
current birds in the area. All of the birds we have all year except for
the PISI & AMGO. R=regular use(every day) O=Occasional(2-3 times/week)
S=Sometimes(less than 1/week)
