Thanks for those who sent me tips on choosing binoculars; I have more grist for
the mill and hope to have a decent pair in hand before I go to New Guinea in
January. If anyone has birding friends there they'd like to relay greetings to,
I'll do my best to oblige. I like having birding contacts wherever possible.
