Subject: Blue Lake YB Loon

The Yellow-billed Loon is still present at Blue Lake. Yesterday (Sunday) it
was by the rest stop at the north end of the lake (thanks for the tip, Andy).
The bird was floating (a good thing for a loon to do) only 15 feet from the
road; I didn't even need to get out of the car.

Also present near the rest stop were about 10 Chukar and a Prairie Falcon. No
WW Scoter visible.

Scads of Snow Buntings and several Lapland Longspurs in three large Horned
Lark flocks on Hwy 2
