He is. But, if he touts his work which resulted in his "migrations"
book and later calendar, I'd be interested in hearing second-hand
any comments regarding digital manipulation and the ethics thereof
(he got torched at the initial North American Nature Photographers
Association last January - including some vocal non-North American
photo-editors who came, at least in part, to scorch him). He may
remain silent, assuming jerks like me won't be in the audience :)

Don't get me wrong - I'm asking for reportage, not anything else. He's
good; he's "Seattle's own"; but I'm interested in how far he may've been
forced to retreat on this issue by his peers and whether or not it
spills into his talk.

Actually, on second thought - he's VERY good. Right next to Frans
Lanting, IMO.

gossip rather than going myself...
