This is the Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society Rare Bird Hotline for

Dale Litzenberger reports that as of today, the Yellow-billed Loon remains
on Blue Lake along Highway 17, south of Dry Falls and continues to be
cooperative.

Kathy Criddle reported a Red-breasted Nuthatch at her feeder in Richland on
December 7th and an Orange-crowned Warbler on December 11. Both of these
birds would be welcome additions to our upcoming count.

Today a Merlin was found on Columbia Point just beyond the I-182 bridge and
the Western Screech-Owl, resident in Howard Amon Park, made an appearance in
its usual location.
