And on this thought, I'll put in a plug (I know it's commercial, but I
think it's OK to comment on things we think would be of special value for
at least some of us tweeters) for the Nature Photography Workshop being
held in Seattle by Joe Van Os on January 13-14. Franz Lanting, John Shaw,
and another well-known nature photographer (whose name, of course, I can't
think of right now) will give a weekend of workshops. It costs $175, and
I've signed up for it, figuring it's about time to increase my level of
