While taking a co-worker's Basset Hound (BAHO?) for a walk this afternoon,
I spotted the NOAA Short-eared Owl again. It was criss-crossing the field
in front of Building 32, and this time it made a kill while I was watching.
Not sure what it got - brown and furry, for sure!

Other NOAA folk say they've seen it nabbing mice in the infrequently-mowed
areas between buildings 3 & 4.
