And just now it has occurred to me that I snapped a photo of
a similar Mew Gull about 2 years ago and it's buried somewhere
in my photo files. The gull, which was sitting on the fence
around the Titlow Beach swimming pool, had distinctly yellow
eyes--golden irises, with a hint of brownish tint. In fact, I
snapped the photo because the bird seemed (to me at the time)
oddly un-Mewish.

Now, I only I can find that photo tonight. . . .
